Louise Redknapp Presents ASOS.com with Online Retailer of the Year Cosmopolitan Award

Looks as though we're still your favourite online fashion store! We're thrilled to announce that earlier today we picked up the ultimate gong at the Cosmopolitan Click Fix Online Fashion Awards - Online Retailer of the Year.

Louise Redknapp was on hand at the swanky Kensington Roof Gardens event to present the award to Jason, our marketing manager, who tells us that the footballer's wife was as radiant as usual in a pair of black skinny jeans and a voluminous black top. Speaking about our win, Louise said "congratulations to ASOS for this award", whilst fashion expert Mark Heyes commented "ASOS is great at double-take homages to designer items and also has a really quick turnaround for those must-have accessories that celebrities are wearing".

The award was voted for by readers of Cosmopolitan, so big thank yous to everyone who voted for us. Look out for the profile on us below and all the results in the April issue of the magazine.

Fame and Fortune awaits London College of Fashion hopefuls

To celebrate the London College of Fashion's centennial year, ASOS.com will be showcasing the work of their hottest new talent in a glamarous catwalk show.

The exclusive event, entitiled 'Fame, Fortune and Fashion' aims to shape the face of future fashion by looking to influential style icons for inspiration, and with the added incentive of two final year students being selected to design and create an outfit which will later be availble to buy on site, competition is sure to be stiff.

We scoop Etailer of the Year at Drapers Footwear Awards 2007!

On May 16, 650 of the footwear industry's finest gathered at the London Hilton on Park Lane for the Drapers Footwear Awards to celebrate the wonder of shoes, and those who make them. Awards were given in over fifteen fabulous categories ranging from Best New Store to Footwear Retailer of the year, not to mention the category in which ASOS.com was running; Etailer of the Year.

Alongside stiff competition from dune.co.uk, exclusivefootwear.com and footwear4you.co.uk, ASOS.com romped home to victory scooping the title  'Etailer of the Year' with pride.

Head of Buying, Debbi Ball, commented that "After the company winning Drapers and Retail Week's Best Etailer of the Year, it was great for one department to be credited with an award, especially in such a tough trading climate. We are really pleased to have won this year's footwear awards against such stiff competition and it's wonderful to see that the effort our team has put in to widen the scope of our offer has finally paid off."

ASOS.com Signs Sex and the City Stylist Patricia Field

ASOS.com has signed the iconic fashion designer and Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field to design a limited edition collection for the site.

Aptly named 'Patricia Field for ASOS.com', the collection of clothing and accessories, designed in collaboration with ASOS.com's in-house design team, will debut in August 2007. Patricia Field will also be styling the range for the website launch.

Rob Bready, Retail Director, said, "Patricia is world renowned for her award-winning styling and costume design work. We are thrilled to be teaming up with Patricia to bring a slice of her unique style to the UK fashion arena."

Peaches Wows at Spiderman 3 Premiere in ASOS.com Dress

The stars were out in force for the London premiere of Marvel comic blockbuster Spiderman 3, but none shone brighter than Bob's reigning princess of the fashion-forward, Peaches Geldof, who wore a stunning colour block mini dress from ASOS.com.

Flaunting both the monochrome and volume trend in one, with a striking two tone jersey bubble hem number, Peaches certainly got the cameras clicking. And of course this picture perfect outfit was accessorised with leg-lengthening nude platforms,  gorgeous pre-raphaelite inspired locks and her trademark fashionista pout.

ASOS.com wins Online Retailer of the Year at the Retail Week Awards 2007!

On March 1st 2007, over 1,700 of the industry's finest gathered at the Grovesenor House Hotel in London for the 12th annual Retail Week Awards, and a glittering gala dinner was served to all to get proceedings going before the nervous nominees were told who would be going home with one of the seventeen much-coveted awards.

We are proud to announce that ASOS.com walked away with 'Online Retailer of the Year', beating stiff competition from e-tailers  such as Schuh.co.uk and Woolworths.co.uk. Head of buying, Debbi Ball (pictured below) commented, "It's great to be in the running with such credible companies, and obviously to win is a big credit to the entire ASOS.com team as we strive to continue to be the number one online fashion retailer."
