Now here’s a girl with style. Kate Bosworth was snapped out and about on the streets of Sydney with her hunky replacement Orlando (we still can’t quite bring ourselves to admit it’s over) earlier this month. Wearing a cute striped t-shirt with skinny jeans and statement sunglasses, the actress had been busying herself getting her fashion fix at the Wheels & Doll Baby flagship store – and from the looks of things, she found a little something she liked! It’s not surprising though – the new range from the fabulously glam Australian brand is full of flirty shirts, sexy dresses and gorgeous tops that more than live up to their “clothes to snare a millionaire” motto - check out the collection here.

Star Style Latest - A Windy Day in LA for Kate Hudson

You may have struggled to work in the fierce winds this morning, but at least you didn't have to battle to keep your hair in place and keep your dress from flying up as a hoard of paps vied to take your picture. Spare a thought then for Kate Hudson, as this is the situation she found herself in last night as she attended the premiere of her new film, Fool's Gold, in the normally sunny and wind-free City of Angels. The actress spent most of her time on the red carpet battling the elements and trying desperately to protect her modesty against high winds, but on the few occasions the wind dyed down she was able to strike her best movie star pose and show of her beautiful bright blue satin dress. It's good to know that even the sun-soaked paradise that is LA sometimes falls foul to weather you're more likely to associate with good ol' Blighty - we just wish we could work the "wind-swept" look as well as Kate...

The heiress gave the crowd gathered outside The Late Show with David Letterman studio - where Paris was due to be interviewed - a good old show of her own last night, in not one but two amazing outfits. On her arrival, Paris wore a great navy and gold polka dot dress styled with a big blue waist belt as she waved to her adoring fans. Post-interview, it was a quick change as the socialite emerged in the prettiest one-shoulder dress and cute monochrome heels. We only hope that this interview went better than the last one she did with the infamous American chat show host - on her last appearance, Letterman quizzed Ms Hilton on her then recent jail stint, much to the party girl's annoyance...

We've been keeping our keen fashion eye on Rumer Willis of late. The 19-year old has always held the promise of superstar potential, what with her parents being Hollywood royalty Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, but it's only recently she's begun to sneak onto our radar. She may have been robbed of her big fashion moment - namely her role of handing out the gongs as Miss Golden Globes 2008 - by the writers' strike, but she continues to impress with her off-duty outfits. Pictured here touching down at JFK airport in New York earlier today, the teenager covers more trends than we care to count. Checked shirt? Yep. Leggings and ballet pumps? No problem. Oversized bag? She's so on-trend, she's got two. And, with eight films under her belt, it looks as though Rumer is set to join the Young Hollywood set, with her circle of friends including Lindsay Lohan, Hayden Panettiere and Riley Keough. Definitely one to watch, we think...

The actress seems to have put her end of 2007 woes behind her and, fresh from returning from the Sundance Film Festival, where she modelled a trio of great hats, the OC actress is back in California and back to her stylish self. Snapped on the streets of West Hollywood yesterday where she visited the Guitar Centre and picked up a guitar (either that, or there's a new must-have designer handbag on the market that we weren't aware of) looking happy and relaxed. Wearing a pair of super-short high-waisted shorts with a printed tee, flat sandals and plenty of silver bangles, the actress looked every inch the rock chic. Star Style Latest - Stars Finally Get Their Red Carpet Moment

We have to say, we felt more than a little cheated when we heard that the glitz and glamour of the Golden Globes' red carpet had been cancelled due to the writers' strike - whilst we empathise with the cause, naturellement, we were so looking forward to ogling all the wonderful dresses. And the stars obviously felt like they'd missed out too, as they turned out in force for the lesser known Screen Actors Guild Awards last night wearing a selection of stellar gowns. Amongst our favourite starlets to grace the red carpet were Christina Applegate and Eva Longoria, who both wore dazzling silver dresses which showed off their miniscule frames, and Angelina Joile in a billowing gown that will do nothing to kill those "pregnant with twins" rumours. Still, at least she was on-trend - dip dye, as we've told you, is set to be a major look this season. But the best dressed ladies of the evening were, in our opinion, the lovely Amanda Bynes and Kate Beckinsale, who both went for striking bright colours. Hairspray actress Amanda wore a beautiful blue strapless dress with beautiful heavy embellishment, whilst Kate opted for a canary yellow frock with layers of this season's ruffles. This red carpet extravaganza has most definitely whet our appetites for the Oscars, which are less than a month away. Ooh, we can barely wait...

Star Style Latest - Alexa Chung To Host This Year's Elle Style Awards

It was announced at a celeb-packed launch party in London last night that fashionista du jour Alexa Chung will host this year's Elle Style Awards alongside her old Popworld co-host, Alex Zane. The event, now in its 11th year and due to take place on 11th February, will see the results of the Elle reader survey, which honours the hottest stars from the worlds of fashion, music, TV and film, announced to a star-studded audience. The girl herself was present to hear the news announced, and more than demonstrated her fashion credentials in a military-style coat, knee-high socks and a great satchel bag. Also present at the launch party was gorgeous model-about-town Jade Parfitt, carrying a bright purple bag - this season's colour of choice, doncha know - along with her sister and ASOS.com's very own Beauty buyer, Amy, who opted for a red coat over her skinny jeans. Star Style Latest - Stars Turn Out To Bid Valentino Adieu

His name became synonymous with glamour, so it was no surprise that Valentino's last ever collection - which showed yesterday at Paris Haute Couture Week - was a thoroughly glamorous affair. The Italian designer bid farewell to the fashion game after 45 years of dressing the world's most famous and sophisticated women, including Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana and Jackie-O. And his celebrity fan base was more than evident from a quick look at the front row, which included supermodel Claudia Schiffer in a cute bow top and skinny black trousers and Lucy Liu in a purple mini dress with ultra-elaborate pink sleeves. Also present was actress Uma Thurman, a long-time friend of the perpetually-tanned one, who posed with the designer wearing a black lace dress and commented "I'm sad to see it end". He went out in style though, we're pleased to report, with a procession of models dressed in trademark Valentino red gowns joining the designer on the runway as he took his very last bow. A fitting end for a fashion legend.

To be honest, it doesn't usually take much to entice slebs to a shindig - the promise of a glass of bubbly and a goodie bag usually does it. But when the shindig in question is the incredibly opulent affair that is Haute Couture Fashion Week, any self-respecting fashionista is vying for a front-row seat, and this was exactly the case as the seven day fashion extravaganza kicked off in Paris this week. Amongst the stars to take up their priority seats were Diane Kruger and Dita Von Teese - no surprise there, being as this pair are fashion circuit regulars. Diane kept things chic and simple at the Chanel show yesterday in a knitted black dress, but added a touch of individuality with a gorgeous pair of yellow heels. Dita meanwhile was as polished as we've come to expect at Giorgio Armani Privè, wearing a jacket in the tipped colour of the season - purple - and an on-trend full skirt. Très bien, mademoiselles!

Everyone’s favourite Aussie – that’s Kylie Minogue, obviously – added another gong to her bulging awards cabinet this weekend as she picked up an award honouring her life and career at the G’Day USA Gala in Hollywood. The event, which is part of Australia Week and aims to raise awareness of Oz and encourage Americans to take a trip Down Under, also saw the likes of Natalie Imbruglia, Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart in attendance, with John Travolta – Kylie’s childhood crush – presenting the Australian superstarlet with her award. On being presented with her trophy by the Grease and Hairspray star, Kyls gushed "basically, I'm eight years old now in Melbourne. I'm flipping right now. When he twinkles those blue eyes at you, wow." How much do we love that, despite being one of the biggest music stars on the planet right now, she still gets star-struck by John Travolta? Star Style Latest - There's a Distinct Lack of Sun at the Sundance Film Festival

They're not in LA anymore, and don't they know it! The Sundance Film Festival got underway this weekend in Park City, Utah, and the minus zero temperatures coupled with the threat of snow has forced the celebs descending upon the city to forego their usual garb in favour of warmer outfits, with boots and big old winter coats the order of the day. The weather doesn't seem to have dampened the stars' moods though - Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael Bublé's lady Emily Blunt and Mary-Kate Olsen all managed smiles for the the paparazzi as they arrived for various premieres. Good to know that they can still pull off red carpet style without the aid of a designer dress or a pair of heels - now that's the mark of a true fashionista.

Star Style Latest - Stylish Pregnancy is No Sweat for Jess

We have to hand it to Jessica Alba - the girl's dedicated to the healthy living cause. Whilst we would instantly use being pregnant as an excuse to live in our lounge pants, stay at home and eat ice cream all day, Ms Alba takes a different approach. This snap was taken yesterday as the starlet, who's expecting boyfriend Cash Warren's baby in early summer, left the gym (surely exercise is the last thing you'd want to do when pregnant?), and there wasn't a pair of trackie-b's in sight. Instead, Jess proved that she's still got style in spite of her ever-growing baby bump, wearing a dark green knitted dress, boots over long socks (has anyone else noticed that this seems to be a bit of a micro-trend going on at the moment?) and a well-positioned scarf which cleverly hid her belly. Whilst we're impressed the actress is still managing to drag herself down the gym, we have to wonder about how hard she actually exerted herself - we never manage to pull off the "glossy-haired, relaxed beauty" look when we leave the gym. Squeezed into a super-tight and super-sexy black bandage dress, the actress was back to her superstar best, with a mass of blonde tumbling curls and a megawatt smile. It's good to have you back, Linds. Ashlee Simpson also found time to swing by the premiere, sporting vibrant newly-dyed auburn locks, a great pink coat and a black oversized clutch (absolutely everyone's carrying one at the moment). We can hardly contain our excitement that legendary denim brand Dittos has just arrived on site. Having been huge in the '70s, Dittos were the original "must-have" jeans and now they're back and better than ever. They're a tad difficult to get on (imagine us hopping all over the office desperately tugging at the zipper, pleading with it to do up, if you will), but we're assured that this is all part of the appeal and, once you've managed to zip yourself in, the reflection in the mirror - especially the rear view - will be worth the effort. We love the brightly coloured "classic" pair pictured below, although they also make more traditional blue washes. Thinking you can't wait to get your hands on a pair? Ditto.

Sarah Michelle Gellar seems to have a serious case of the January blues, as she took to the red carpet of her new film The Air I Breathe yesterday modelling a dazzling bright blue gown. In order to show off the frock's fabulous embroidered neckline, SMG treated the paps to a twirl which also served to show off the actress' bronzed and toned back and her great loose French plaits. We hear that the film explores the ancient Chinese proverb that life is broken up into four emotional cornerstones - love, happiness, pleasure and sorrow - with Sarah's character exploring the sorrow element. It seems that Milan Menswear Fashion Week really is the place to be seen at the moment. After we reported yesterday that Beyonce and Margherita Missoni had been spotted at the shows over the weekend, the celeb-fest continued yesterday as the Spice Girls watched the Roberto Cavalli show from the comfort of the front row, and even took to the stage with the Italian designer. No doubt they were repaying the King of Glamour for kindly designing the fabulous outfits the girls' are currently showcasing on their world tour. Posing with Signor Cavalli on the runway, the Spices looked every inch the model fashionistas - Victoria wore a classic (and so totally Posh) black tux, as did fellow Spice Mel C, whilst Emma showed off her post-pregnancy figure in a sexy Little Black Dress, and Mel B and Geri both shone in shimmering metallic silver and gold dresses. Bellissimo!

News Just In - Nicole and Christina Welcome Their Bundles of Joy

It certainly was a busy time for the staff at LA's Cedars Sinai Medical Centre this weekend - both Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera popped by on Saturday to welcome their first children into the world. Nicole gave birth to a daughter, weighing in at 6lbs 7oz, which she and fiancé Joel Madden have named Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Joel is said to have told People magazine "we are very blessed she's healthy and beautiful." Meanwhile, in another ward, Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman welcomed their son, Max Liron Bratman, who weighed in at 6lb 2oz . Congratulations to the both of them!

If you're still struggling to even consider thinking about your wardrobe for spring, you may want to look away now, for this weekend Milan Menswear Fashion Week kicked off, previewing the collections for Autumn/Winter 2008-2009. And it won't be long until February arrives and the women's A/W shows begin - you have been warned! Back to this weekend, superstar Beyonce was on hand to add some celebrity sparkle to proceedings, attending the Gianni Versace show on Saturday, and was spotted front row yesterday at Emporio Armani, alongside rumoured new hubby Jay-Z. wearing a black all-in one with a leather jacket and big black bag. No doubt the duo were repaying the favour after the designer reportedly lent them his Parisian home for their secret wedding last month. Elsewhere on the fashion show circuit, fashion heir Margherita Missoni was snapped at the - yes, you've guessed it - Missoni show wearing a great taupe and pink colour block dress (hmm, we wonder which label it could be) with a black shrug and lace-up ankle boots. Star Style Latest - Anna and Jennifer are Ladies Who Lunch

We have to say, these celebs get invited to some ridiculously named events, don't they? Take yesterday's soiree at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which was grandly titled "The 7th Annual Awards Season Diamond Fashion Show Preview Luncheon, hosted by the Diamond Information Centre and InStyle". Huh? Apparently, the do is a warm up to the Golden Globes - the first big event in the American awards ceremonies calendar - and gives starlets a chance to preview all the gowns and gems that they could potentially float down the red carpet in. Ooh, it's a hard life isn't it? Despite the fact that the Golden Globe ceremony has actually been cancelled due to the ongoing writers' strike across the pond, the event went ahead anyway, with Anna Friel and Jennifer Love Hewitt amongst the glamonisitas in attendance. Eternally-on-trend Anna worked two key looks at once with her polka dot ruffle neck blouse (spots and ruffles will both be big for spring, FYI) tucked into a high-waisted pencil skirt and styled with a red belt and red lips, whilst Jennifer, fresh from attending the 27 Dresses premiere earlier this week, kept things chic in a simple grey dress with sparkly silver shoes to add just a touch of glam.

Star Style Latest - Brittany and Amanda are the Jewels in the Critics' Choice Crown

Amanda Bynes had pretty much all but dropped off our style radar in recent months - ever since Hairspray was released, and she wowed us with a succession of fabulous outfits, we haven't seen all that much of her. And then all of a sudden she bursts back onto the scene with two fantastic dresses in the space of a week. Not that we're complaining. Following her appearance at last week's Palm Springs Film Festival, the actress joined Brad and Ange (see the post below) at Monday's Critics' Choice Awards wearing a purple minidress with contrasting straps by Narcisco Rodriguez that we love so much we had to show you two shots of it. And would you check out that amazing oversized clutch? This girl knows a trend when she sees one. Also on the red carpet was fellow Hairspray star Brittany Snow, and when the girls posed together they demonstrated just why jewel colours are all the rage right now - Brittany's teal coloured dress next to Amanda's purple frock looked eye-poppingly gorgeous. They were certainly the 'jewels' in the Critics' Choice Crown in our opinion.

Out at Monday night's Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt cosied up to one another as if there was no-one else around. Ange wore what has become her trademark in recent times - a Little Black Dress -  whilst Brad, wearing a smart shirt and waistcoat, wrapped a protective arm around his lady and whispered sweet nothings into her ear. Star Style Latest - Fabulous Frocks at the 27 Dresses Premiere

At the premiere of a film called 27 Dresses, you'd pretty much expect to find a host of fabulous frocks to ogle, and last night's world premiere of said film certainly didn't disappoint. Rising star Katherine Heigl plays the lead role in the film - which follows the life of a girl who finds herself very much "always a bridesmaid, never a bride" - and took to the red carpet accompanied by 27 girls wearing, yes, you've guessed it, 27 dresses. The actress dazzled as she posed outside the infamous Mann's Chinese Theatre in California in a great metallic prom dress paired with a chunky bead necklace and bright red lipstick on her high-wattage grin. Also out on the red carpet was a newly-curvaceous Jennifer Love Hewitt, looking thoroughly feminine in a peach chiffon dress with strappy silver sandals. As amazing dresses go, we think these girls picked the cream of the crop.

Star Style Latest - All This Weekend's Outfits

This weekend saw the desert city of Palm Springs play host to its 19th annual international film festival, and there were three ladies in particular who went down a sandstorm. A pregnant Halle Berry and Hairspray actress Amanda Bynes were our favourite starlets to take to the red carpet - despite her ever-growing bump, Halle looked as dazzling as ever in a simple black trapeze dress with an embroidered neckline and a fab clutch bag she seemed intent on showing off, whilst Amanda opted for an angelic white babydoll dress which she paired with silver heels. However, our best dressed of the evening award has to go to the beautiful Drew Barrymore, who wore a fabulous and interesting belted frock with multi-coloured cross over straps to present an award on stage. Drew's always been a true original, and this dress only reinforces this - we love it.

Good heavens, girl - how are you still managing to walk with that massive bump!? We can only imagine the discomfort poor old Christina Aguilera is in at the moment. It was widely believed that the Dirrty singer was due to give birth to her first baby sometime over the Christmas period - however, Santa has been and gone, and still there is no sign of the Aguilera/Bratman sprog. Latest reports however suggest that she has scheduled a caesarean for 10th January. Heading out for dinner in Beverly Hills yesterday evening, the starlet attempted to disguise her enormous bump in a stylish shawl worn with classic denims and silver ballet pumps (not even Xtina could manage heels with that load to carry). Get yourself to a hospital now, lady, is what we say - that belly is ready to pop!

Now, we don't know about you, but we absolutely love the run up to the US Presidential elections - it just seems to be one of those things that the Americans do so much better than us Brits. Whilst a lot of our population seems indifferent to old Gordie Brown, Dave Cameron and whoever the new Lib Dem leader is (case in point, no?), across the pond it's a different story - rallies attended by thousands of people, badges and posters to show your support and celebrities clamouring to pledge their alliance to one of the parties. It's just so much more fun than it is over here. And, at the moment, the race to win the Democratic leadership is really hotting up - ex-First Lady Hilary Clinton is up for the job, with enviable support from Steven Spielberg, Barbara Streisand and Elizabeth Taylor, as is Barack Obama, who already counts Jessica Biel and Oprah Winfrey as allies, and yesterday added superstar Scarlett Johansson to his list of famous supporters. Looking chic (the gentleman to the right obviously agrees) in a simple grey jumper dress, knee-high boots and a slouchy beanie hat, we hear Scarlett posed for pictures and even got on the phones to drum up support. Beautiful, stylish and a good head on her shoulders? This girl's got it all.

Having spent a rather unconventional Christmas soaking up the rays on Maui beach, sisters Nicky and Paris Hilton went back to tradition on New Year's Eve by throwing the party to end all parties at LAX nightclub in Las Vegas. Attended by a splattering of fellow celebs, including Pamela Anderson, Kevin Federline and Nicole Richie's ex DJ AM, the do was a thoroughly riotous affair (well, would you expect anything less from the Hilton sisters?). Nicky wore a beautiful white embellished neckline dress, whilst big sister Paris sported a multicoloured sequin dress, and both girls accessorised with Happy New Year party hats - what a glamorous start to 2008!
