5 Become 1

It's the picture we thought we'd never see - yesterday, after a week of fervent speculation, the Spice Girls stepped out as a 5-piece once more to announce their one-tour-only reunion.

Now, the Spices were never exactly renowned for their sense of style back in the day (see above - 'nuff said). But, with 7 years since their last album and an assortment of marriages, divorces and babies between them, the girls have certainly matured, and at yesterday's photo call there wasn't a Union Jack dress or a slick of glitter eyeshadow in sight.

Posh, the only Spicette to have really made waves with her fashion choices, lived up to her vixen image in a chest-enhancing bustier and super-shiny, super-skinny trousers (we fear Kate may have kick started a trend with her Glastonbury outfit - please don't let it catch on!); there wasn't a Nike tick in sight when it came to Sporty, who sported (chuckle) a pair of skinny trousers and a chic black shirt to accompany her chunky fringe; Ginger could have passed for Lily Cole's older sister in a tiered, floaty maxi dress; Baby looked as serene as ever, dressing her baby bump in a timeless Little Black Dress; and Scary flew the flag for curvy girls everywhere in a figure-hugging skirt and sweetheart neck halter top.

So it seems the return of the Spice Girls won't mean a regression to pigtails, pouts and peace signs.  Instead, we're simply excited to have them back - and looking forward to a darn good sing-a-long once the tour kicks off in December...

Three's a Trend - Wayfarer Sunglasses

If you'd always secretly suspected that you looked more than a little ridiculous in big (and getting bigger), Richie-inspired sunglasses then the new direction in hip summer eye wear that celeb after celeb is embracing will be a breath of fresh air...yes, the wayfarer is undergoing a full-on fashion revival.

First made legendary in the 1950s and early 60s by starlets including Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's and Marilyn Monroe, their fashion status grew when Anna Wintour, American Vogue editor and all-round fashion force, made them her sunglasses of choice for a number of years.

Fast forward to the style scene of 2007 and the wayfarer is back with avengeance! We've put them under the title of our weekly feature  "Three's a Trend", but in reality we could have written a special-edition blog this week with the title "Hundreds upon Thousands' a Trend". Literally everyone who's anyone in World Fashion is sporting them this season - Sienna, Kate, Peaches, Lily, Kelly-O, Mischa, Kirsten, the Olsens, Lindsay - do we really need to continue?

Whether you choose classic black, retro tortoiseshell or go bold with bright colours - for a way-cooler alternative to oversized sunglasses, you won't go wrong with wayfarers.

I Want, I Need, I Love - Jewellery from Disney Couture

Ok, ok - we know that at first glance the words Disney and Couture don't necessarily sit alongside each other easily . But bear with us - especially if you're a fan of super-sweet, quirky jewellery pieces...

Disney Couture is the latest jewellery brand to hit the site, and a sneaky peak at the collection left us grinning like the Cheshire Cat. Made up of three necklaces and a bracelet, the range is full of cute-as-a-button references to iconic Disney films and characters, including Peter Pan’s Tinkerbell (the coolest kid this side of Neverland). Our favourite piece from the collection is the bling-tastic Mickey Mouse 14ct gold, Swarovski-encrusted pendant pictured above.

Still need convincing of its fashionability? Starlets Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie are both fans of the brand, with Li-Lo the proud owner of the Alice in Wonderland inspired Suede Wrap Wristband (well, Alice-esque headbands and pinafore dresses are all the rage right now). Nicole is pictured below attending last month’s Disney Couture party in Bel Air where she picked up a necklace and bracelet from the collection.

Paris - Homecoming Queen

Paris Hilton bounded out of jail last night, surrounded by an army of photographers and reporters, straight into the open arms of her parents Kathy and Rick Hilton. Her signature golden LA glow may have faded (damn those state penitentiaries and their 'no spray tan' rules), but she looked fresh faced and happy in a cute ensemble of skinny jeans, white pumps and jacket. As the sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore said, 'She fulfilled her debt. She was obviously in good spirits.' Amen to that, the fashionista is back!

Nights on the Spice?

The former Spice Girls have looked as though they're up for a party of late - Geri Halliwell was out on the razzle last night for George Michael's 44th birthday do at the Berkeley Hotel (in a lovely black dress and gold clutch), while a couple of evenings earlier Vic 'n' Dave were spotted 'resting' in the car after a night out in Madrid.  These days, it's rare to see new mum Geri, or super composed Posh looking a little wobbly... so could there be an underlying reason for their jollities? Perhaps it has something to do with news that the Spice Girls long awaited reunion tour is expected to be confirmed next week.  (Oh, and the added bonus that it's estimated to gross £100 million - zig-a-zig-ah indeed). But what about the fashion?  We're loving leopard print of late, and of course Vic's style, but we may need persuading on the Union Jack dress/platform boots front...

Glastonbury - Style Wins the Day

It was mud, shmud, as Glastonbury's finest made us proud - denouncing practicality in favour of style.  Lily Allen was back to her best in a strapless fuchsia gown (accessorised with can of cider), Pixie Geldof showed some skin in an edgy, low-backed jumpsuit, and Kate Moss's fledgling music career (see Kate 'n' Pete's latest 'music video' here), showed no sign of slowing as she took to the stage in pvc trousers and a lace cape.  Place your bets now that it'll be the ultimate festival look next year - though you never know, Dame Shirley's tasselled pink evening dress and rhinestone clad wellies were pretty damn cool too. God bless Bassey.

Mischa - Charming 'em all in NYC

Mischa Barton worked it like a true pro in New York yesterday, meeting and greeting fans of her favourite footwear brand Keds, (get yours here). Without so much as a whiff of all that 'heading-to-rehab' hype, Miss Barton looked her usual radiant self in her signature quirky mix of casual footwear, chunky rings and a summery white dress with vintage detailing. Like her look? Good news, ASOS.com's Mischa shop is but a click away...

Star Style Watch - Moss Makeover

Kate Moss stepped out on Tuesday night for Sir Paul McCartney's 65th birthday party at his St John's Wood home.  Now, for most of us, the prospect of our best mate's dads birthday party (inevitably involving a pub, peanuts and rubbish jokes) means chucking on a pair of jeans. But when your best pal is fashion designer extraordinaire Stella McCartney, and her father a living legend, it's only right that you should make a bit of effort.  Plus, with Natalie Portman hanging around being all perfect, and Anouck Lepere (supermodel girlfriend of ex, Jefferson Hack) in attendance, even the ever beautiful Kate had to put her best foot forward.  And that she did - with a new side parted hair do, matching red nails and lips, and de rigeur snakeskin wedges.  In fact, she looked so lovely that this cheeky fella couldn't keep his mitts off her.  Pete will be pleased.

Three's a Trend - "I'm So Over You" Dresses

It's every girl's worst nightmare - you're on a whirlwind tour of the globe promoting your new, guaranteed-to-be-a-success-before-it's-even-released movie and your ex-boyfriend turns up at every opportunity (ok, we admit that the only nightmare-ish element to this scenario is running into your ex-boyfriend - although, if that ex-boyfriend happened to be Justin Timberlake...).

Anyway, the point is that the last couple of weeks can't have been easy for the ever-beautiful Cameron Diaz as she stepped onto red carpet after red carpet to promote Shrek 3, in which she reprises her role as Princess Fiona and in which her ex JT also stars. In an effort to deal with the trauma that meeting up with an ex inevitably causes, Cameron plumped for the only tactic us girls can consider in times like these - the "I'm So Over You" dress. From Madrid to Berlin to London and beyond she showcased a string of sexy, shoulder-baring gowns which, worn with her trademark big grin and newly blonde-again locks, no doubt had Justin kicking himself at his loss. You work it, girl!

Face of Fashion - Agyness Deyn

With Italian, British and American Vogue covers under her waist-cinching belt (the latter edition hailing her as a leading face in the new breed of supermodels), Agyness Deyn is a name you need to know. Hailing from Manchester where she used to serve chips to now-best-friend and fashion designer Henry Holland (of bright slogan t-shirts fame), she's currently the face of Mulberry, muse for Giles Deacon and has strutted down the runway of everybody who's anybody. Add to that the fact her boyfriend is Josh Hubbard from Brit band The Paddingtons. Add to that her big angelic eyes, flawless skin and androgynous crop. Add to that her individual, quirky sense of style (the high-waisted trousers, printed tee, big scarf and studded bag ensemble in the pic below was swiftly added to our "looks to emulate" list) and you've got yourself a bona fide Moss in the making. This girl's so cool, we want her to be our new best friend...

Shiny, Happy Feet

Now that the sun has decided to raise it's head, we've managed to prise our worn-out, smelly pumps from our poor neglected feet and finally treated ourselves to a long-overdue pedicure. We scrubbed. We filed. We polished. Yes, there were some tears (just how did we let our precious feet get into this state!?). But we persevered...and voila! Shiny, happy feet. Now that our tootsies are polished to perfection we're determined to show them off at every opportunity, so we were quick to log on to the brand new summer sandals and flip flops shop. With so many pretty pairs to choose from (like these beauties below), you'll be stepping out in a new pair every day. It's time to liberate those feet, ladies!

Amy Loves ASOS magazine!

Here at ASOS.com we love Amy Winehouse - and by the looks of things she returns the sentiment. We caught up with London's premier party girl last Friday having an afternoon bevvy at The Hawley Arms in Camden (her wine-house of choice) and snapped her with the latest issue of ASOS magazine (delivered free with every order).  Amy struggled to crack a smile for the camera after a rather teary exchange on the phone with a mystery caller (we hope that new hubby of hers is treating her right), but despite the drama she still managed to keep her trademark big hair and eyeliner flick looking as good as ever. Smile, Amy - ASOS.com loves you!

The Mane's Blonde...Bleach Blonde

Just as we thought Mademoiselle Geldof was starting to look all sophisticated with her flowing, pre-raphaelite rich brown locks, she goes and slaps 7 rounds of peroxide on her poor mane to bleach it blonder than blonde. Still it's summer, and who doesn't want golden, shimmering locks that dazzle with shine in the sun? Whatever you make of her new 'do, you can't fault the girl's fashion choices at the moment - granted the leather jacket's a little Johnny Borrell, but the white wayfarer sunglasses are achingly cool, and the bag is quite simply beautiful; quilted, chain handled and big enough to fit her ipod, bulging celebrity address book, collection of lip glosses and homework all in (she is still just 18, let's not forget). All in all a Peach of a look.

Another day, another great outfit from Victoria Beckham (she's a busy social bee at the moment, isn't she?). Posh is loving getting her pins out of late, and she used the awards gala at Graduate Fashion Week to showcase yet another fabulous mini-dress.
