Skinny Minnie – the British Fashion Council has decided not to ban models with a below-average BMI from London Fashion Week for fears of being seen as discriminatory. Marks and Spencer’s Stuart Rose (who is also Chair of the Council) has declared he will, however, be writing to designers and urging them to be responsible when booking models.

Citizen Kane – he pioneered the revival of neon on his SS07 catwalk, and now Christopher Kane is set to firmly establish himself as the hottest thing in fashion with a collection for TopShop due in store February. Expect delicate chiffon dresses in muted colours – with neon zips. Flash!
